Beautification Day

MARK YOUR CALENDAR!
Beautification Day is scheduled for Saturday, November 7th. We look forward to bringing the community together again for another wonderful day of service and celebration. Check-In begins at 9am in the Upper Village (in front of Tecolote Book Shop). After picking up trash in the community, we all gather again in the Upper Village for some awards, a hot dog/chili lunch prepared by the Montecito Firefighters and live music, all while mingling with community partners and fellow neighbors.  It's a fun day you don't want to miss! 

JOIN THE BEAUTIFICATION DAY DISTRICT CHALLENGE!
This Beautification Day, Montecito’s six districts will go head-to-head in a friendly trash pick-up competition! Each district team will be led by a Montecito Association board captain, and volunteers can join their neighborhood team to see which district collects the most litter. Click here to find out what district you are in.

We will also take on a special beautification project along the Hammonds Beach Trail, helping clean and enhance this treasured community pathway. Gather your neighbors, choose your team and help us make every corner of Montecito shine!  If you plan on volunteering this Beautification Day, please meet at the Upper Village to check in.

CHILDREN'S ART GALLERY
Children were invited to help celebrate Montecito Beautification Day by creating an original poster for our Community Children’s Art Gallery! This year’s theme is “Our Village, Our Home,” encouraging young artists to show what makes Montecito special to them.

The posters will be displayed in the windows of local shops during the week leading up to Beautification Day on Saturday, November 7. For more information, contact info@montecitoassociation.org or call 805-969-2026.
