This year, the Montecito Association proudly celebrates the 40th anniversary of Beautification Day with the theme “Montecito’s Renaissance.” Just as the Renaissance was an era of renewal and creativity, this day reflects the spirit of our community coming together to restore, refresh, and reimagine Montecito’s natural beauty. Neighbors, families, schools, and local organizations will join hands to clean, plant, and uplift our shared spaces—honoring our legacy while embracing a new chapter of unity and spirit. After four decades, Beautification Day continues to embody the best of Montecito: resilience, togetherness, and a collective commitment to keeping our community shining bright.
Please join us and your neighbors on Saturday, November 8th as we celebrate four decades of community spirit with our 40th Annual Beautification Day. Together, we’ll clean up our neighborhoods, honor our Citizen of the Year, and share a day of fun and fellowship.
We’ll kick off with a complimentary breakfast sponsored/hosted by the Rosewood Miramar before fanning out across Montecito to beautify our streets, trails and open spaces. This year, we’re adding a friendly team competition—gather your friends, classmates, church group, co-workers, or neighbors to see who can haul in the most trash!
After the cleanup, everyone is invited to enjoy a picnic lunch, generously sponsored by Montecito Village Grocery, San Ysidro Ranch, and prepared by our very own Montecito Firefighters.
To mark this milestone year, participants will receive a special 40th Anniversary Beautification Day t-shirt. To have your name or business logo included on this year's t-shirt, please have your sponsorship in by October 21st.
